From June 12 to 14, Vision Components and its partner companies FiberVision and EVT were present at this year's International Robots & Vision Show in Rosemont, Illinois. The presentation's highlights were the VisiCube camera, the EYESPECTOR machine vision solution and a preview of the Caminax camera system (which will be presented in detail to a wide audience at the 2007 VISION trade show).

Compared with former US trade shows, VC noted a considerable increase in visitors. Many interested parties had inquiries regarding specific projects, and some even brought along component samples for inspection. The exhibits, which included a Smart Camera-based coin counting system and a Caminax demonstration, illustrated the versatility and problem-solving abilities of Smart Cameras.
