Open CV now running on all Smart Cameras |

We have adapted the open source program library OpenCV to our proprietary VCRT operating system, implementing it on all VC Smart Cameras. OpenCV was originally developed by Intel® and published under a BSD license, running only on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems. Integrating it into Smart Cameras has increased their application range, since OpenCV includes many algorithms enabling, for instance
• movement detection,
• facial recognition,
• object tracking,
• contour processing and
• image segmentation
The fast image processing library complements VC Smart Cameras, which independently execute all image processing routines thanks to their integrated intelligence, thus replacing standard PC-based systems.
