Bernd Neumann founded the IBN GmbH in 1999 after 4 years of self-employment as a diploma-educated visual engineer. Bernd Neumann was the first to integrate a graphical, programmable user interface into an intelligent camera, without the need for a PC. His customers include companies such as Bosch, Fuji, Nestlé, SKF, Sony, Volkswagen etc., where smart-cameras are in operation. These cameras function completely Autark, and do not require a PC to carry out camera inspections. 

Modern process optimisation is central to IOSS
The area of expertise of IOSS GmbH is the development and application of intelligent visual sensors. As a producer of industrial image processing systems, IOSS is able to develop dedicated solutions for the reading of data of DataMatrix applications and niche technology geared towards customer specific requirements –innovatively, competently and efficiently.  

Our engineering office over the last 10 years has been involved in the development of hardware and software. The focal point of our developments is concentrated on industrial image processing, conducted mostly with Smart Cameras from VC. The majority of our installations can been found in the area of quality control, particularly for the automobile industry at, for example, Bosch. Since 1998, I have built up in Bulgaria a software house called atto-Systems , which is geared to finding new solutions for image processing, such as the development of VIMOS for VC Smart Cameras.
