The barcode reader is now more reliable and faster using sub pixel accuracy and an improved algorithm.

The VC Barcode Reader reads reliably the following barcodes:

- Code 39
- Code 2 interleaved 5
- EAN128
- EAN13
- EAN8
- UPC-A
- UPC-E

This demo program works on all VC Smart cameras with Ti DSP. It outputs the barcode reading via serial line or Telnet port 23. The first digits are replaced with "VC Demo".

The ROI is in the image centre - the finest barcode line should be at least 2.5 pixel thick.
