The task: a compact bench-top device that allows an inner and outer concentricity measurement (i.e. two varying diameters) for each turned part. The required diameter can be set by altering two different user settings. Parts can be mounted manually. The advantages Simple part positioning (plan view), so that the part does not have to be rotated. Allows for a simple method to certify product quality; other commercially available methods are considerably more time consuming and complex.
