conform to RoHS!
Being a measurement system manufacturer for the industry we are not obliged to deliver ROHS conform, according to WEEE registry DE34223578. Nevertheless our goal is to fulfil the standard in the near future.
90% of our products are already conform to RoHS convention. Unfortunately the rest of them isn’t conform to RoHS convention yet. Our Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) are already lead-free, our products are also soldered lead-free.
We would like to point out the fact that the information you can find in paragraph 14 section 2 line 2 of ElektroG have been published on the website of the foundation Elektro-Altgeräte Register: (www.stiftung-ear.de).
Definition of the terms:
WEEE:
The WEEE law (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment) tends to rise the amount of recycled products and to invite developers to consider the recycling of the products in their planning.
RoHS:
The RoHS directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) tends to limit the use of hazardous materials into electric and electronic devices.
Which products are concerned by RoHS directive?
RoHS directive applies to electrical and electronic equipment (to devices that regularly need an electric current or an electromagnetic field, to equipment for the generation, transfer or measurement of such currents or fields, and to companies which use an alternative voltage of max. 1000 Volt or a direct voltage of max. 1500 Volt) which belong to one of the categories 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 10 that you can find in the appendix IA of the DEEE 2002/96/EG directive:
1 Large household appliances
2 Small household appliances
3 IT and telecommunication equipments
4 Consumer equipment
5 Lighting equipment
6 Electrical and electronic tools except large scale stationary industrial tools
7 Toys, leisure and sports equipment
10 Automatic dispensers as well as for electric bulbs and lamps in households.
