Very small and cost efficient Smart Cameras:
Our VCSBC range of single board cameras for our OEM customers. These cameras are extremely compact - down to the size and the weight of a matchbox!
As small as the size is the price - with large discounts for high quantity orders. Most board cameras are available with 12x0.5mm lens-holder or C-mount.
VC's single board cameras are now also available with the calculation power of the latest TI processors to accomodate the speed requirements for demanding OEM applications. Please refer to the VCSBC4018 article on this page for details.
Compact complete vision systems:
The VCM series of integrated sensor cameras. Mounted in a cylindrical M30 housing these cameras already incorporate LED lighting, 12mm lens and even IP65 protection! This makes these cameras ideally suited for industrial environments, where a compact and rugged vision system is required.
All this at the size and the priceof little more than alight barrier!
The most widely used:
The VCXX family ofcameras in VC's standard C-mount housing. Proven in thousands of applications worldwide and in space these cameras feature an Analogue Devices CPU and are available in different speeds, configurations and resolutions. Like most of our cameras the VCXX range features 8 digital I/Os, VGA/ SVGA or CCIR output and RS232 communication.

Using the same rugged housing as the VCXX family, the VC20XX range of smart cameras feature RS232 or Ethernet TCP/IP communication, VGA to 1.3 mega pixel resolution and frame rates of up to110 full frames per second. The multitasking TI CPU allows image acquisition and processing in parallel! The VC20XX also features VGA/ SGA output, 8 digitalI/Os and a highly accurate fast trigger input.
The brand new VC40XX series almost tripels the calculation performance of the VC20XX series and incorporates a range of additional features. For further information please refer to the separate VC40XX article on this page.
Most of our cameras feature progressive scan CCD sensors - some models are also available ascolor cameras.
