Especially light-sensitive
We would like to introduce the new VC4067 EXview Smart Camera, which is
based on a Sony EXview HAD CCD sensor and qualifies for use in applications
requiring high light sensitivity, e.g. monitoring tasks. The sensor technology
enables the camera to analyze even long wavelength light near the infrared
spectrum, thereby ensuring very precise image recording. The 2/3"
CCD sensor has a 1,280 x 1,024 pixel resolution and provides a maximum
frame rate of 14 fps.
Featuring an integrated 400 MHz processor from Texas Instruments, the VC4067
EXview has a computing power of 3,200 MIPS. It executes even complex image
processing routines, thereby rendering additional PCs unnecessary. Standard
camera models are equipped with 4 MB Flash EPROM and 32 MB DRAM for program
and picture storage, which can be optionally extended with a 128 MB SD
card. Additionally, the Smart Camera comes with an RS232 and an Ethernet
interface and an external trigger input that enables jitter-free image
recording even at high reading frequencies. Standard equipment also includes
four digital PLC inputs and four outputs. An external monitor can be connected
to the camera's integrated SVGA video output for maintenance and testing
purposes.
