Vision Components® celebrates company anniversary

On June 13 and 14, Vision Components® will celebrate its tenth anniversary. The foundation for later success was laid at the VISION trade fair in 1995, when the company's founder Michael Engel presented a self-developed prototype of the VC11, the first Smart Camera for industrial environments. A picture of the device and a report from trade journalist Don Braggins were published, and word of mouth spread quickly. The Vision Components® GmbH was founded a few months later, in April 1996. The following years saw numerous other innovations, e.g. the first intelligent camera with a progressive scan CCD. On the occasion of the anniversary, a series of lectures about image processing will take place on June 13, including the presentation of applications as well as basic seminars. At the same time, Vision Components® will present the latest developments in image processing at an in-house exhibition. The celebration will conclude with an evening program and buffet.
