Speed is our first commandment.
Image processing thrives on speed. The faster
the images are captured and processed and the more pixels that can be
processed per second, the better. Driven by this motivating force, we
set the trends for hardware and software development for our Smart
Cameras.
Our cameras have a resolution of several mega pixels, are available for
black-and-white and colour and take more than 242 frames per second
with simultaneous imaging and image processing. They have a serial
RS232 and Ethernet interface.
Vision Components® product programme contains the following series of Smart Cameras:

as well as numerous model variants.
High-Performance Smart Cameras, the successors to their VC11 forebear, can shoot more
than 242 frames per second during parallel image processing. The small
sensor cameras even include a lens and lighting. Their price leaves the
way clear for applications that previously used to be the province of
optical sensors.
In the case of board-mounted cameras, Vision Components® occupies a unique position in the global market. All Vision Components Smart Cameras will be produced in Germany.
