FAQ’S ABOUT THE REGISTRATION AT VISION COMPONENTS

Why should I register on the VC Web Site if I am not a VC Customer?

All product brochures and smart camera hardware manuals are available for download from the “Public Download Area” without registration.

However after registration and logging in to the Vision Components Website, you will also have access to all VC software documentation, provided in the “Registered User Area”.

The “Public Download Area” contains:

All product brochures in different languages.
All hardware documentations about VC cameras.

The “Registered User Area” contains:

All software manuals from Vision Components.

What if I have forgotten my password?

Please click the “Forgotten your Password?” link just below the “login” button. You only need to provide your User name and a new password is sent to your email address.

Can I change my password?

Yes – just click the “My Details” tab under the “User Menu”, which appears after logging in. You can edit your details here and also change your password.

What is the benefit of registering as a Vision Components Customer?

If you already are one of our customers it is even more useful to register. If you also register your software you have instant access to your software updates.

How to register my Vision Components Software?

Submit your Registration, using the form above.
Your password is sent to your email address.
Log in at the VC homepage, using the “Login Form”.
The following “User Menu” appears:

Follow the “Register your Software” link.
Type in your Licence key(s) into the corresponding fields, starting with “A”, “LA”, “T”, “LT”, “M”, “C” followed by a 9 or 10 digit number. Several different Software licences can be registered at once. Please repeat the registration process, if you want to register several licences of the same type.
Submit your software Registration.
It may take up to 3 working days to obtain access to all pages.
