VCSBC EvoCam

Intelligent Embedded Vision System with MediaTek Genio 510

Designed for fast and easy vision
integration into your smart devices

The next Generation VC board level camera:

VCSBC EvoCam is an all-in-one smart embedded camerafor flexible edge AI and vision applications. It combines all components for imageacquisitionand image processing on a tiny 65 x 40 mm board. The embedded camera can be configured with various image sensors, integrated directly onboard or with one or two remote-head cameras.

The VC EvoCam is equipped with the MediaTek Genio 510 edge AI processor. A 100-pin board-to-board connector enables integration and customization through interface boards. The camera features a standard Debian Linux OS for fast and easy programming.

Sven Klette-Matzat - Sales Manager - OEM Solutions - Vision Components

30 years of smart cameras from Vision Components

In 2026, Vision Components celebrates its 30th anniversary. In 1996, the company presented the first industrial-grade smart camera, the VC11, developed by company founder Michael Engel. It established the principle of image processing directly on the camera as an alternative to large, expensive, and complicated PC-based systems. The VC11 was freely programmable with the VCRT real-time operating system developed by VC. It formed the basis for numerous successful vision sensors and standard products.

The VC EvoCam marks another milestone for simple and fast integration: it offers high computing power, supported by dedicated AI accelerators, and excellent energy efficiency; all combined with a favorable price-performance ratio and Debian Linux operating system. The VC EvoCam thus enables a wide range of embedded vision applications with classic algorithms and AI for traffic control, retail, logistics, industry, and medical technology.
