The ultra-compact MIPI cameras support the MIPI CSI-2 specifcation and they are available with many different image sensors.
Thanks to standardized data transmission, the miniature cameras can be manufactured and integrated into various platforms at extremely low costs.
Based on a dual-core processor ARM® Cortex®-A9 with 866 MHz and an integrated FPGA the models of the new VC Z series offer solutions at extreme high-speed in real-time. The operating system VC Linux provides for the ideal interaction of hard- and software.

Since 2016 all new models are based on the Xilinx® ZYNQ® module, combining FPGA and dual core ARM®. Operating system is VC Linux and all cameras are equipped with the free VCLibQ containing more than 300 functions for machine vision tasks.
The new VCLibQ is a machine vision library, combining two software tools that have been well-proven in more than 25 years: our VCLib and Halcon® by MVTec®. The software is available with alle VC Z models.
The new VC nano 3D-Z integrates laser and intelligent camera in one housing that varying in size depending on working distance. Thanks to the powerful blue laser module the sensor is extremely robust for extraneous light, up to 100.000 Lux.
