Since 2016 all new models are based on the Xilinx® ZYNQ® module, combining FPGA and dual core ARM®. Operating system is VC Linux and all cameras are equipped with the free VCLibQ containing more than 300 functions for machine vision tasks.
The new VC Q-Board is a „System on Module“ which can be used flexibly for any application - even without sensors! Equipped with several standard interfaces, the Q-Board provides for ideal and fast communication. Already installed IP camera systems can be transformed into Smart Systems, for example. The integrated freely programmable SoC from Xilinx provides for that.
