Vision Components stands for embedded vision like no other company. All our cameras are so-called intelligent cameras and based on either ARM/Linux or DSP/VCRT featuring a real-time operating system.

The systems stand out for their small form factor which makes them easy to integrate, no matter if they come as board camera, with standard housing, or protective housing. All cameras are equipped with the VC Lib - a free and comprehensive computer vision library including more than 300 functions for imaging tasks comprising Vision Components' expertise in more than 20 years experience in the field of embedded vision.

Thus, VC cameras offer versatile options for applications in all industries, for example engineering and automation, medical engineering and logistics. We also offer cameras for 3D solutions, our users can choose between stereo vision systems or laser triangulation sensors. For high-speed applications and applications where customized solutions are required, we offer a considerable performance boost by programming the FPGA of our ARM-based models or help you with a new camera hardware design when necessary.

VCSBC nano Z-RH-2 OEM High-Speed Cameras

The high-performance Embedded Vision Systems of the VC Z series offer real-time image processing suitable for all kinds of demanding applications. All models are equipped with Xilinx's Zynq SoC, an ARM Dual-Core Cortex-A9 with 866 MHz and integrated FPGA. With their tiny size of only 40x50mm (CPU board) and 18x24mm (sensor board) they are primarily designed for applications where space is at premium. The stand-alone systems are also ideal for robotics and self-sufficient applications, due to their low power consumption of less than 3W.
