The development and manufacturing of our smart Embedded Vision Systems comprises three main categories:

ultra-compact MIPI Camera Modules that can be connected to a wide range of CPU boards,
freely programmable ARM-based embedded cameras with integrated CPU for 2D and 3D OEM applications as well as
freely programmable 3D camera systems for triangulation applications.

Consultation and service are available to you worldwide through our local partners in over 30 countries. We operate sales offices in the USA and Japan. The company based in Ettlingen, Germany, was founded in 1996 by Michael Engel, the inventor of the first intelligent camera suitable for industrial use.

Even after 30 years of experience in developing industrial cameras, I am still enthusiastic and passionate about pushing the development of the technology further and, together with my team, setting new limits to what is feasible. Our customers hold Vision Components in high regard, not least because of our special flexibility and excellent service quality. We strive to proceed as a highly efficient and innovative force, setting the standards for Embedded Vision Systems throughout the world.
