Vision Components offers a new standard MIPI CSI-2 cable featuring an integrated connector board for trigger input and flash output. Fully compatible with all triggerable MIPI camera modules, it enables the direct connection of external triggers and lighting without requiring an additional interface board or extra hardware development. The cable is available in a length of 200 mm and is compatible with common processor boards featuring a MIPI CSI-2 interface. It expands the existing portfolio of VC MIPI FPC Cables, which come in lengths of 60 mm, 100 mm, 200 mm and 250 mm.

VC also designs and manufactures custom cables with or without external inputs/outputs for triggers and lighting, as well as with breakouts for adapter boards. They are available in various lengths to fit all popular processor boards with a MIPI CSI-2 interface, supporting 15-, 22-, or 24-pin configurations and 2 or 4 data lanes.
For longer distances between the camera module and the processor board, VC provides micro-coax cable options as well as SerDes solutions for cable lengths of up to 10 meters. All cable options are part of the VC MIPI Bricks ecosystem and are fully compatible with the manufacturer's 50+ camera modules.
